Schrepfer retires

After 45 years in the service of the district of kulmbach, the head of the district road maintenance department, eckhard schrepfer, was given a well-deserved retirement. With his even-tempered and down-to-earth manner, the reichenbacher, who was born in leuchau, managed the facility with its 25 caretakers for 22 years.

District administrator klaus peter sollner called him a guarantor for sensible and future-oriented solutions. "He never shied away from making decisions and was always a man of his word." In the future, he will certainly drive along one or the other of the district roads and then inform the civil engineering administration about any damage, the district administrator joked.

Eckhard schrepfer started out as a trench construction worker and completed his training as a trench worker. In 1985, he was appointed foreman and in 1996 he became a route supervisor in the upper region. On 1. April 1997 he was taken on as a trencher in the salaried position.

For the staff council, chairman uwe seehuber praised collegial cooperation.

Schrepfer returned the thanks to his good team.

Hans-gunther dorfler is the new head of the district building yard, lothar hagen is his deputy.
