Now there is also in martinsheim a dog regulation which regulates the leash obligation, after before already several times had been discussed about it. This was decided by the martinsheim community council in its meeting on monday evening in the old school in martinsheim.
Other municipalities in the administrative community of marktbreit had already passed corresponding ordinances in previous years, so these could be used as examples. The council quickly agreed that leashes should be compulsory in towns and 100 meters around villages. Moreover, this also applies in the area of aussiedlerhofen or similar auberortlichen buildings. The idea of designating special areas in the meadow where leashing is not compulsory and otherwise extending it to the entire parish area was, however, rejected. This was not only very complicated, but also legally problematic, some municipal councils found.
The building application for the renovation and conversion of the old school in unterickelsheim into a residential building with three residential units was approved. However, the ev.-luth. Parish church foundation unterickelsheim agree, because the building is next to the church which is a single monument. The old school itself is not a listed building informed burgermeister rainer ott.
Local councilor ulrich falk gave an interim report on the refugee work. From march 2015 to october 2017, over 60 refugees were cared for in two accommodations in enheim. Since 23. October there is no longer any decentralized accommodation in the community. Eight syrian families have found apartments in enheim, martinsheim, obernbreit, marktbreit and ochsenfurt and will continue to receive support from the refugees’ working group.
One problem was and is mobility in the region. The regular trips by the citizen bus and the village car in gnotzheim demanded by the community are important for this. It is positive for the community that the school-age children of the refugee families attend the elementary school and kindergarten in martinsheim. This contributes to higher school numbers in the facilities and helps to maintain the elementary school.
In the future, support in the search for jobs, apprenticeships and internships will become even more important, explained ulrich falk. The working group will continue to work on the integration of syrian families in the surrounding villages. The active core of the helpers currently consists of about 20 people, he praised.
In gnotzheim, there is currently a trial waste container, which has been well received so far, explained the mayor.
