At the qualifying tournament in karlsruhe, the dancers of the youth guard aged seven to ten proved to have real nerves of steel: due to the illness of one of the dancers, the trainers had to change the positions again shortly before the start, and the tension was clearly noticeable in the children’s faces. Nevertheless, they mastered the performance with bravura and secured first place ahead of the strong competition.
Youth dance girl melissa wacker improved her personal best in her first year of competition and reached an excellent 3rd place. Also luisa schreiner could improve with a seventh place out of 25 starters. The "sharing makes you happy" show dance could hold their own in a strong field of participants with 2nd place against rottenbach and knielingen. There was a lot of jubilation in the juniors: with a new personal best, the dancing couple aenne rebhan and torben hafner won first place for the first time ever. A sensational increase in performance was shown by the junior guard, who danced their way to first place with a lead of twelve points over the second-placed team from rottenbach. Aenne rebhan, who dances her first year in the age group of eleven to 14 year olds, competed in karlsruhe against many older dancers. Nevertheless, they convinced and were rewarded with a cup for 3rd place. The junior show dance "in the footsteps of cleopatra" (65 points) reached a good place in the midfield.
The konigsgarde had a hard time in the age group u15 at the qualification tournament in wurzburg, because with five top guards of the last german championship the performance density was extremely high on this day. In addition, the team struggled on this day with illness-related absences and the associated short-term changes. Nevertheless, the coburg girls could reach with place 7 of 23 garden a good place in the front third.
